As a doula for over 2 decades, I have supported births in homes, hospitals, and free standing birth centers. We often start at home and travel to the birth center or hospital once active labor is well established or as soon as mom and partner want to go. Knowledge takes away fear and leads you into a more empowered birth where you are in control of decisions. I can help you along that informational journey during the prenatal months. I will remind you of your options and explain situations to you during labor but will never make decisions for you. I will also be there to support your partner helping you without jumping in and taking over their role. We will work as a team where everyone has a valuable part to play. I am a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 3. A highlight of my career has been supporting the births of my grandchildren. I understand the sacredness and tenderness of this most wonderful day.
